3-Phosphoglyceric Phosphokinase

3-phosphoglycerate kinase catalyzes the conversion of 1,3-diphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate, producing 1 molecule of ATP. This is the first time ATP is generated during anaerobic fermentation. Due to the fact that 1 molecule of glucose produces 2 molecules of 1,3-diphosphoglycerate, 1 molecule of glucose can produce 2 molecules of ATP in this process.Note: Product information may be optimized and upgraded.
