Modified Masson’s Trichrome Stain Kit

Modified Masson staining showed that collagen fibers were blue, muscle fibers, cytoplasm, cellulose, keratin and red blood cells were red, and the nucleus was blue-brown, which was mainly used to distinguish collagen fibers from muscle fibers.

The difference between modified Masson trichromatic staining and conventional Masson trichromatic staining is that the nucleus is lightly stained with celestite blue hematoxylin. Its characteristics are: short differentiation time (1 ~ 2 minutes); Clear and bright colors; Wide application range, suitable for dyeing paraffin sections and frozen sections of tissues; The dyed slices have long storage time and are not easy to fade.

This kit is the result of our company’s research and development on the basis of G1345. It is safer to operate and more environmentally friendly to use mordant solution instead of Bouin fixed solution for slicing.
