Beyotime’s Amplex Red Cholesterol and Cholesteryl Ester Assay Kit provides sensitive, rapid, and simple colorimetric and fluorometric methods for measuring the content of free cholesterol, total cholesterol, and cholesteryl esters in samples such as serum, plasma, cells/tissues, urine, and cell culture supernatants, based on teh Amplex Red probe. Typically, 0.5-5μl of serum or plasma sample is sufficient for the fluorometric method with this kit.
