Beyotime’s Hoechst Staining Kit provides a rapid and convenient method for detecting cell apoptosis. Hoechst 33258 is cell-permeable nuclear dye that emits blue fluorescence when combined with dsDNA. It is very sensitive to DNA conformation and chromatin status in cells and is regularly used to detect the growth status of cells. In apoptotic cells, Hoechst dye stains the condensed chromatin more brightly than the chromatin in normal cells.
