Appearance: Red or reddish brown fine powder. Sensitive to light. It can absorb oxygen from the air and become colorless oxides, losing its activity. Soluble in acetone, chloroform, petroleum ether, benzene, and vegetable oil, insoluble in water, propylene glycol, and glycerol, and insoluble in methanol and ethanol.Purpose: Biochemical research.
