BeyoChIPTM Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) Assay Kit with Protein A/G Magnetic Beads can be used to enrich chromatin fragments bound to target proteins by immunoprecipitation with specific antibodies of target proteins. The enriched DNA fragments can be identified by different methods such as qPCR, PCR, next generation sequencing and Southern blot. It is usually used to detect whether a specific transcription factor or genomic DNA binding protein is in the same complex as a specific genomic DNA sequence [1-2].
