BeyoChIPTM Enzymatic Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) Assay Kit with Protein A/G Magnetic Beads employs micrococcal nuclease (MNase) digestion instead of conventional ultrasonication for chromatin fragmentation, followed by immunoprecipitation with specific antibodies to enrich chromatin fragments bound to target proteins. The enriched DNA fragments can be identified by different methods such as qPCR, PCR, next generation sequencing and Southern blot. It is usually used to detect whether a specific transcription factor or genomic DNA binding protein is in the same complex as a specific genomic DNA sequence [1-2].
