BL21-Gold(DE3) Glycerol Stock

Beyotime’s BL21-Gold(DE3) Glycerol Stock is prepared by adding glycerol to BL21-Gold(DE3) bacteria in logarithmic growth phase, which can be directly used for plate streaking or small or large-scale cultivation. This strain is derived from E. coli B and is an improved version of BL21 cells. It provides high-level protein expression and allows direct cloning of many expression constructs, suitable for pET plasmids and other prokaryotic expression plasmids regulated by the T7 promoter for target gene expression.
