Beyotime’s BL21(DE3)pLysS Glycerol Stock is prepared by adding bacteria stock solution containing glycerol to BL21(DE3)pLysS bacteria at logarithmic growth stage, which can be directly used for plate streaking or cultured in small or large quantities. This strain is suitable for prokaryotic expression plasmids such as the pET series, which regulate the expression of target genes with the T7 promoter, and is particularly suitable for IPTG-induced expression of exogenous virulence proteins that affect bacterial survival and viability.
