Bradford Protein Assay Kit

Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye combined with protein in acidic solution changed the position of the maximum absorption peak (Imax) of the dye from 465nm to 595nm. In a certain concentration range, the measured absorbance value A595 was directly proportional to the protein concentration. The concentration of protein determined by Bradford method is not affected by the chemicals in most samples. The concentration of mercaptoethanol and dithiothreitol in the samples can be as high as 1M and 5mM, but the concentration of SDS, Triton X-100 and Tween 20, 60, 80 and 80 should be lower than 0.06% due to the influence of slightly higher concentration of detergents. For samples containing detergents, it is recommended to use the BCA protein concentration determination kit produced by Soledad.
