CellTiter-LumiTM Luminescent Cell Viability Assay Kit

The CellTiter-LumiTM Luminescent Cell Viability Assay Kit (CTL) provides a fast and convenient method to determine the number of viable cells in culture with a luminometer based on quantitation of the ATP, which signals the presence of metabolically active cells. The assay reagent contains luciferase enzymes that catalyze the oxidation of luciferin into oxyluciferin in the presence of ATP, generating a luminescent signal proportional to the amount of ATP (Figure 1).
