Hanks/HBSS Balanced Salt (Dry Powder) (with Calcium Magnesium, with Phenol Red)

HBSS (Hanks Balanced Salt Solution) is one of the most commonly used balanced salt solutions in biological experiments, also known as Hank’s solution. It is mainly used for rinsing tissue blocks during cell culture, rinsing cells, and as a solvent for preparing other reagents, etc. HBSS, also known as D-Hank’s, which does not contain calcium and magnesium ions, can be used to prepare trypsin digestion solution (calcium and magnesium ions can inhibit trypsin activity). The phenol red in the buffer serves as a pH indicator.
