Micro Acetylcholinesterase(AchE) Assay Kit

Significance of determination: AchE belongs to serine hydrolase, which widely exists in various animal tissues and serum. AchE catalyzes the hydrolysis of acetylcholine (Ach) and plays an important role in the regulation of nerve conduction.

Determination principle: AchE catalyzes the hydrolysis of Ach to generate choline, and choline reacts with dithio-p-nitrobenzoic acid (DTNB) to generate 5- mercapto-nitrobenzoic acid (TNB); TNB has an absorption peak at 412nm. AchE activity was calculated by measuring the increase rate of absorbance at 412 nm.

Necessary instruments and consumables: UV spectrophotometer/microplate reader, micro Shi Ying cuvette /96-well plate, cryogenic centrifuge, water bath pot, adjustable pipette gun and distilled water.
