Thiamphenicol

Usage and description: Scientific research reagent, widely used in molecular biology, pharmacology and other scientific research fields. This product is a derivative of chloramphenicol, with a spectrum and antibacterial activity similar to chloramphenicol. It has a broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect, including aerobic gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, rickettsia, spirochetes, and chlamydia. Methionine has bactericidal effects on the following bacteria: Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Neisseria meningitidis. It only has antibacterial effects on the following bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pyogenes, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella paratyphoid, Shigella, and other anaerobic bacteria. The following bacteria are usually resistant to chloramphenicol: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter, Escherichia coli, Serratia marcescens, Indole-positive Proteobacter, Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus, and Enterococcus. This product is a bacteriostatic agent that reversibly binds to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting the growth of peptide chains (possibly due to the inhibition of transpeptidase), thereby inhibiting the formation of peptide chains and preventing protein synthesis. It exhibits complete cross resistance with chloramphenicol. Due to the fact that methicillin does not bind to glucuronic acid in the liver, its antibacterial activity is relatively high in vivo. This product still has strong immunosuppressive effects.Methionine also has strong immunosuppressive effects and is an excellent immunosuppressant. Its mechanism of action is significantly different from other immunosuppressants, and its immunosuppressive effect is several times higher than chloramphenicol. To reflect the effectiveness of lengthening agents in transplantation and surgical allogeneic transplantation. The domestically produced methicillin enteric coated tablets are mainly used to treat respiratory, urinary, and intestinal infections caused by sensitive bacteria such as Haemophilus influenzae, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, etc.
