Myelin Oligodendrocyte Basic Protein (16-37)

This is amino acid residues 16-37 of murine myelin oligodendrocyte basic protein (MOBP), a major component of CNS myelin which may play a role in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis. MOBP16-37 is the major encephalitogenic epitope for SJL/J mice and causes EAE.
